Our Work in the Community
As a nonprofit health care organization, Franciscan Villa is committed
to serving the needs of its community members — even those unable
to pay — and promoting healthier communities.
With that mission in mind, Franciscan Villa strives to be a participant
in ensuring the community remains vital and vibrant.
Franciscan Villa is a sponsoring member of the Milwaukee Aging
Consortium and a member of the South Milwaukee Lions Club. Franciscan
Villa serves on the South Shore Smoke-free Coalition and supports
South Milwaukee Human Concerns, South Milwaukee/Oak Creek Interfaith,
the Kelly Senior Center in Cudahy, the South Milwaukee Senior Center,
the Coalition to Protect America’s Health Care and the Knights of
Columbus.
Franciscan Villa is also an active participant in health and job
fairs, and we routinely schedule informational and educational programming
on our campus, including events on eye care and veterans benefits.
